What is an apothecary?
Historically, an apothecary was a person or shop that prepared and sold herbal preparations. Today the word usually means a shop of herbal, botanical and handmade body-care products. Lilith's Eden is a small-batch herbal apothecary making salves, body butters, scrubs, bath salts, mists and tinctures in Arvada, Colorado.
Where is Lilith's Eden located?
Our pickup location is 6688 Devinney Ct, Arvada, CO 80004, in the Denver metro area. Hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9am–2pm, Tuesday and Thursday 9am–5pm, closed weekends.
Do you ship?
Yes. Choose shipping at checkout on our Square store. You'll see shipping options and costs before you pay.
Can I pick up my order locally?
Yes. Choose “Store pickup” at checkout and collect your order in Arvada during open hours.
Are your products natural?
We make everything in small batches from botanical ingredients such as plant oils, butters, beeswax, salts, herbs and essential oils, and we list ingredients on each product page. Patch-test anything new, especially if your skin is sensitive to essential oils.
What's the difference between a salve and a balm?
Both are made from plant oils set with beeswax or butter. A salve is softer and spreads easily, and a balm is usually firmer, which is why balms come in sticks and tins. Our Dandelion Salve is a salve and our Pocket Balm Stick is a balm. See our guide, What Is a Salve?
Do your products treat skin conditions?
No. Our body-care products are cosmetics. They aren't intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. For a skin or health condition, talk to a clinician.
Which product is best as a gift?

How should I store handmade body care?
Keep it cool and dry, below about 75°F and out of direct sun, and keep water out of scrub and butter jars. Natural butters soften in heat and firm up again when cool.
